The Invention of PR

“Greetings Bartonious!  Does the day find you well?” says Lord Greimeare, happy to see his trusted advisor.
“Indeed it does my lord, though I have some issues I need to bring to your attention.” says Bartonious, bowing in respect to his master.
Lord Greimeare burst into laughter.
“Oh, Bartonious, you are so efficient.  Where would I be without you?”
“I could not imagine my lord.  Shall I proceed?”

Martin and Chris had their arms on each others shoulders as the swayed from side to side in time to the music blaring out of the jukebox at the back of the bar.  As the song finished they fell back into their seats laughing and swigging out of their beer glasses.

Decision

“Look, somebody has got to make a decision.  Either we keep going, or we let this band die.” Shane will say, looking at the other members of the band.

Silence

A soft thudding wakes him from his uncomfortable sleep.  He rolls on his side to investigate the noise.

Three men crested a hill, which brought the shattered shanty village into view.  They crouched down, the first man took out binoculars, the second loaded an arrow into his crossbow and the third calmly watched the two of them.
